Universities mediums to enrich plutocrats under an educational theme

 Universities are places where the super wealthy can make tax deductible  donations to enroll their under achieving kids. It’s also where the war  department can gather massive investments without public scrutiny  because the money was gathered under the theme of education. This is why  the government guarantees student loans, it makes college completely  unaffordable. If you loan anyone money, and the colleges know that, then  they will simply raise their prices. They don’t really care about education  if they did then they wouldn’t charged hundreds of dollars per  textbook. College is a business first, indoctrination second, and  educations third. The excess profits are not going teacher pay or  education related equipment. They dump it into defense industry  investments or construction projects. It could be for sports stadium or  “beautification” or whatever, but the purpose is just to use the school  to shell out money into unrelated industries. Tuitions have become  hidden super taxes.

It’s crucial that they hire left and teach  leftist economics too because any Libertarians would notice everything  that is going on. These leftist idiots however just beg for more. They  want the government more involved in schooling and they want more “free”  education. College now cost more than buying a house. Students graduate  with the equivalent of a mortgage yet they don’t even get the house.  This spills over into other things like healthcare. Doctors in Japan or  India don’t have med school debts to pay their first years of practice  and aren’t pressured to gauge their patients.

If you want the cost of higher education to come down, then stop looking for ways to prop up over priced industries through taxation and instead address why they are over priced to begin with, I.E. end guaranteed student loans.
