Cuomo Resigns

Andrew Cuomo resigned or will in 14 days.  That makes Three New York Governors in a row who had sexual problems that plagued their office. Gov. Paterson admitted to extra marital affairs only a day after taking office to replace Gov. Spitzer who also had extra marital affairs with a teenager. Now Cuomo had the left heelturn on him, comedians and all, for essentially being rude to women he worked with, although it could be a smoke screen to punish him for putting covid patients in nursing homes which cannot be officially admitted as wrong because it would hurt the Democratic party.

As much as I can’t stand Andrew Cuomo, the evidence against him is pretty weak. It mainly shows he’s an Italian Yankee. Outside of Italy people regard that type of behavior as being a creepy abrasive ass hole. But is it really an Italian thing or just a New York thing using, ‘it’s an Italian thing’ as an excuse to be creepy.

You all know the guy. He hugs a little too long, finds some excuse to touch or hold you while he’s talking and pretends he’s unaware of it, constantly says perverted things couched behind it’s a joke or I’m just playing. That guy. That rude Yankee prick that tries to kiss people upon greeting them and who defends whatever obtuse uncomfortable thing he does with “ah kehmaaaan” guidio for “come on.” These spaghetti heads know exactly what they’re doing. They aren’t fresh off the boat. They grew up in America and they damn well know better.

That said, this rude uncomfortable personal space invading behavior, is not illegal. It’s obnoxious, inconsiderate, ethnocentric and devoid of any manners but sadly that’s often just normal New Yawk.

He ought to have heat for packing nursing homes with covid patients. He ought to have heat for massive corruption. But nowadays the only crime condemned is when it involves identity politics. Unless you’re a Democrat like Ralph Northam the Gov of Virginia who got away with doing blackface. Shaming for political correctness is just a weapon one side uses because it has the blessing of the media and it does not work both ways. Cuomo being forced out is a shot across the bow as the left which has run out of witches to burn is finally starting to eat itself.
