Murderous Israeli govt offended by Norwegian cartoons

Norwegian caricature of Olmert angers Israelis, Jewish groups

The Norwegian newspaper "Dagbladet" has published a caricature which has angered Jewish and Israeli groups across the world. The caricature shows Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert as a Nazi officer, carrying a large machine gun. Jewish groups are saying that the publishing of this caricature is not covered by freedom of press rights, in a protest reminiscent of the very recent outrage in the Islamic world over caricatures of the Prophet Mohammed in the Danish Jyllands-Post.

Olmert drawn to resemble Goeth from "Schindler's List"

In the Norwegian caricature, Olmert is drawn to resemble the Nazi general Amon Goeth who was the subject of film director Stephen Spielberg's 1993 hit "Schindler's List." In a scene from the film, Goeth goes out on the balcony of his villa carrying a shotgun, and firing indiscriminatelty on Jewish people stuck in the concentration camp he heads. The Norwegian caricature shows Olmert doing the same thing, but to Palestinians. The caricature, which ran on July 10 in Norway, has sparked a great controversy.

I wonder if the Jews will buy this paper? I bet if they keep publishing cartoons like this, they can get top dollar for the paper.

Let me digress to the Danish paper and the publication of the infamous "muslim Cartoons"

The publisher, Mr. Fleming Rose is a Jew, but more importantly is a friend of Mr. Daniel Pipes - considered to be America's #1 Muslim hater.

Taken from this perspective, the publication of those 'cartoons' seems to have less to do with free speech, than it has with hate speech.

But ofcourse, it's Ok if media Jews spread hate.

It seems as though there is always a form of dis-information right below the surface. Show the Muslims as wild-eyed emotional people who get angry over a cartoon and it makes the attrocities of the IDF and Israeli government easier to take, the occupation of Iraq and Afghanistan, the planned invasion of Iran...etc....

Much is being made of the fact that "Jews aren't rioting" about this in the papers, especially in the typical mainstream press. Slightly overlooks the fact that the israelis don't have anything to riot about when they are totally geting their way and killing lots of people as usual.

There is a double standard allright, you can hate muslims all you want but criticise jews and you're a "nazi." blah

And yes, the muslims were definitely rioting about more than the cartoons, they have plenty to riot about in my opinion.

Come now Horatio, you know that reasonable people act passively and definately do not do anything to trouble their masters like rioting and acting badly - for shame - we are well behaved Western slaves, indoctrinated by our school systems and media to discuss our problems in councils, in letters to the editor, in anything that could not ever possibly effect any sort of change or threaten the powers that be - after all, the powers that be have all the guns and bombs and make sure that you don't....and if you do, you are a terrorist and a threat to peace, stability, and Uncle Sam's petunias.
