Cindy Sheehan Quits!
Yeah, you're right 100%. That's why I've never supported Kucinich as a candidate, I just like some of his ideas on certain subjects.

Uhh, 9/11 was the coup de tat to get the neocon fascists into power, We need a collapse and defeat of them to wake people up.ronpaulitician wrote:9-11, anyone?Gargaroth wrote:it takes a terrible loss or a dramatic change for people to reliase how it all works and finally wake up, now lets see what will it take for that change to happen so U.S will stop their imperial aggresion.
Someone should tell her about Ron Paul. Maybe she knows so she has to public abandon the Left before throwing her voice behind Ron Paul. If she would do that many from the left would follow. They have to hear it from their own kind because these people like the right are authoritarian types. They would listen to her or to Rosie. They are not going to listen to you and me even if we say the same thing.

I was always a member of the "radical left" because I associated it with opposition to authoritarianism, peace, and fighting corporate interests (I realize that corporations trying to make money isnt the problem, it is they try to use that money to influence the government. I am against corporations influencing government).
I realize now, that the left is idealogically more authoritarian than the true right.
I have also realized that positive liberty is an inherent contradiction of someone elses negative liberty.
I feel bad for Cindy Sheehan, I was very sad to read this. Anti-war should never be seen as a fringe position. The Democrats were elected TO end the war, and have failed to do this. I think the Republican sheep are dying for new leadership, and would love to beat out Democrats with an anti-war candidate (to have outmaneuvered them again). The Democrats never cared about peace as a party, it was all politics...there just happen to be a few more anti-war votes on the Democrat side of the aisle.
Cindy Sheehan is right to be disillusioned with both sides. I hope she enjoys being out of the public eye. Regardless of how anyone views her, she has done a service to her country by putting a face of sorrow on the war in Iraq. She took devastation that thousands of parents have faced and dedicated her life to preventing others from experiencing the same pain.
Cindy Sheehan also guaranteed that George Bush couldn't go to his ranch in Crawford to forget about the fact that the nation is anti-war
