i think it depends on whether you think "Jewish" is a race or not. Since Jews, whether Zionist or not, usually identify as a race, I try to be sensitive (ok i admit it - i don't want to be labeled racist when thats the last fucking thing i am) . But the fact is, Arab Palestinians and Middle Easterners in general are more authentically Semitic than European Jews - who are usually the ones to use the anti-Semite card.

Well I don't necessarily agree but Jews are pretty much considered an ethnicity much more than they are a religion. And yeah you're right, most Jews aren't Semites. That's why I put anti semitic in quotations marks.

On the internet is one thing, but in real life you definitely don't want to be thought of as an "anti semite". Your career and social life could be destroyed. But luckily for us the Zionists have over played the "anti Israel = anti semite " card so much that it now doen't mean that much.

It shouldn't matter I agree. But they are making it matter. Religion is being used by these "sick fucks" to rally the masses of born again nutjobs to their side. The war profiteers are extracting billions from their main support system; the Christian churches. And our government, which is supposed to be separated from religion, is being infiltrated with born-again Zionist ideology, (which will now being shoved down soldiers throats in the form of a deranged convert or die video game). I think it's necessary to talk about religion and how it's being used to make this war for profit into another Crusade against Muslims. Religion is a HUGE part of this mess and to ignore it will breed more ignorance, not more knowledge and awareness.

The Christians United for Israel video by the Jewish reporter Max Blumenthal ("Rapture Ready") is definitely focused on the religious aspect (Zionism is mostly Christians). It's a great way to show people what's going on - without pointing the finger at war profiteers who happen to be Jewish. If you're anything but a born-again that is some scary shit and unless you're a died in the wool Zionist (Christian or Jewish) it doesn't discredit the message to share it with people; it drives it home.

I personally didn't like that list. I like the one on the 25 ways to help Israel site much better.

It's true there are plenty of Jewish ZIonists but focusing only on the Jewish Zionists or the Jewish Neocons, especially on some of the less important Jewish Zionists more than more important Gentile Zionist/Neocons is kind of unfair and, well...anti-Semitic.

btw I agree that the whole "Jewish" thing is a Semantic issue which I think is one of the reason it's so easily used to create propaganda against critics -- does "Jewish" signify religion, race, ethnicity, or nationality?

If it is in the first case, can we criticize it for being a twisted religion or being the basis for a twisted political movement? How many "Jews" actually support "Judaism" or "Zionism"?

And btw keep in mind half of the people on that list are kind of irrelevant. I mean, for fucks sake "New York Times"? Half of the critical anti-neocon essays are in the NYT. Or, "Washington Post"? Same thing...

A lot of these are pretty non sequitor, someone just found a list of Jewish people and pointed out there's Jews in the media. Zionists influence media and government, yes, but this is just a useless list of irrelevant names that 1) might not even be true and 2) if they are true it certainly doesn't establish any level of influence of the given Jewish individual on the particular institution (e.g. If Joe Jewenstein is a co-editor at some newspaper it doesn't mean he's pushing a Jewish agenda or that if an agenda is being pushed that he is responsible for it simply based on his Jewness)

The NY times and the Washington Post are the two most influential papers in the US and they're extremely pro neocon and pro Zionist. So is the Wallstreet Journal which is also very influential.
