And now the State Department has allowed the MEK to be removed from the US's list of terrorist groups by refusing to renew them which is a product not of a change in their terrorist activity but rather because of lobbying.

That's because MEK members were being used by the CIA and Mossad to kill Iranian nuclear scientists. US doesn't want it to appear like they're arming terrorists for their own agenda. But as the old saying goes, 'It's not terrorism when WE do it.'

Al-Qaida leader urges Muslims to wage holy war against U.S., Israel

Al-Qaida leader Ayman al-Zawahiri said a film made in the United States mocking the Prophet Mohammed showed Washington was waging a "crusader Zionist war" against Muslims and he called for more protests outside American embassies.

Like in other messages released by al-Qaida's Yemeni and North African branches last month, Zawahiri praised last month's assault on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi that killed four diplomats but stopped short of claiming responsibility.

Syrian Jihadists Seize Aleppo Air Base, Loot Missiles

A group of fighters from the Free Syrian Army (FSA) backed by the jihadist al-Nusra Front attacked and captured an air defense base in the village of al-Tanneh, just outside of the major city of Aleppo.

A rebel video praising al-Nusra for its involvement in the attack claimed that the surface-to-air missiles at the base were being used against rebel forces, an odd claim since the rebels don’t have any air forces.

Al-Nusra is accused of ties with al-Qaeda, and its primary claim to fame has been attacking media outlets nationwide, killing journalists and media workers accused of being pro-regime.

It is the second air defense base captured this month, after rebels attacked and sacked a base near Damascus last Thursday. The bases have given the rebels access to anti-aircraft weaponry, putting all air traffic over Syria in jeopardy, as the FSA claimed recently that they consider civilian aircraft “legitimate military targets” if they are inside Syria.

Al-Nusra Front to Protect the Levant

Al-Nusra Front or Jabhat al-Nusra (Arabic: جبهة النصرة لأهل الشام‎ Jabhat al-Nusra li-ahl al-Sham, literal translation: "front for the protection of the people of the Levant") is a jihadist paramilitary group of al-Qaeda[1] formed late in 2011 during the Syrian Uprising. The group released their first public statement on 24 January 2012 in which they called for armed struggle against the Syrian government. The group claims responsibility for the 2012 Aleppo bombings, the January 2012 al-Midan bombing, the March 2012 Damascus bombings[2] the murder of journalist Mohammed al-Saeed [3] and possibly the 10 May 2012 Damascus bombings (see below).

Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari said that al-Qaeda in Iraq & Hamas members have gone to Syria, where the militants previously received support and weapons.[4] The al-Qaeda in Iraq members seem to be joining the al-Nusra Front, according to Zebari.

The Al-Nusra Front aims to lead an holy war against the Syrian government of Bashar Assad, which they hold responsible for crimes against rebels in Homs. The organization encourages all Syrians to take part in the war against the government.[6] The group has also referred to the USA and Israel as enemies of Islam and has attacked the religious beliefs of non-Sunni's in Syria, including the Alawites. [7]
