V Divestment SUCCESS !

The Curch of England voted last Feb to divest from Caterpiller for its participation in Israeli home demolitions. Well it was a success! They voted for it overwhelmingly! 2.2 million pounds is being withdrawn.

as ry pointed out in a conversation we had, how intersting that the church has THIS much money to invest in construction companies...eh?

I'm not surprised that the Church of England would divest from something like that, it is largely left wing. I'm more surprised they invested in the first place.
