What is necesarry is transparency about sponsorship to politicians.
The present Uk government passed a bill to make all donations to partys and their members public. Some support ws withdrawn of course and the government itself has now fallen foul of this law that it itself made. ha.
You need to know who the individual sponsors are, a campaign for accountability might be a good idea.
