Supporting Morsi and the MB by bashing on Mubarak is like justifying cocaine by pointing to crack and saying its worse.
The People brought down Mubarak. And it is the People holding the MB from becoming a full copy cat.

The MB went after a very corrupt judiciary. That is true. That does not mean the Qatar backed MB is less corrupt. In fact Morsi has kept much of the Mubarak bureaucracy where it suits him. The MB also controls some crowds who give them unconditional support no matter that they are doing. You can see a lot of that with Obama cultist as well who will support him even when he does the same things Bush did who they had opposed. Its simple identity politics not ideology. However a constitution was needed and the judiciary it seems needed to be gutted to do that however the driving force for a constitution was the people on the street not the MB's benevolence. However the new one is just being written by the MB and the people are not going to stand for that either. Count the days before they storm the palace Iceland style.

Things are better for Egypt and for Palestine. Not because the old regime was replaced by the MB who has very close relations with the CIA as well as the FSA both terrorist organizations, but because the Egyptian people are holding their governments feet to the fire. That is not because of democracy magic. It is because they now have the ability to organize because of online social media and alternative media which in the past was never available. For a very long time Egypt was subsidized by the US essentially payed to look the other way to Israel aggression. The US really got nothing out of the Mubarak arrangement. The real economy was not subsidized however as that money never trickled down. All they did was further enrich dictatorial plutocrats. So Egypt's economy could stand on its own but Morsi is going to the IMF for more loans anyway. He wants to repeat Mubarak.

If Morsi visit Jerusalem and starts kissing walls, then yes the guy is a complete puppet like Mubarak or if he makes comments like "the Palestinians brought this on themselves" when Israel attacks Gaza or if he supports with out question the treaty between Israel/Egypt, then yes, Morsi is no better than Mubarak.

I will wait and see before jumping the gun on Morsi and like I said before Egyptians will handle it.

He doesn't care about palestine as anything but a buffer to Egypt. His relationship is between Hamas and the MB not Egypt and Paelstine.

Hamas was elected by the people of Gaza.
Hamas has helped the people of Gaza.
Wanting borders of 1967 isnt radical.
Mubarak was a complete puppet and not afraid to show it to the world and Israel.

Moris has kept most of Mubarak's cabinet. The MB are slaughtering people in Syria. Hamas is not radical for wanting 1967 borders they are radical because of decades of suicide bombing and rocket fire which are both completely in-effective and act as pretext to stifle every real step towards even remotely returning to the 1967 borders. People of Gaza voted for them so what people n the US voted for Obama. People are dumb. Elections are manipulated by mass media. Hamas was the face Israel blamed when Bush made Israel take its settlements out of Gaza, no naturally the people supported them. The whole idea was isolate a sunnis run Palestine form a now shiite run Iraq and Iran. But they did not see the revolution coming in Egypt which now has a Sunnis and very organized and qatar backed government.

Palestine election is not equal to American elections.

Massive numbers of protesters, by some estimates 100,000 or more, marched on Egypt’s presidential palace in Cairo, storming the outer gates and entering the grounds of the compound, forcing President Mohamed Morsi to flee.

The protesters were both condemning Morsi’s edict granting himself unchecked power until a new constitution was in place and the referendum, scheduled for a week from Saturday, on a proposed new constitution.

Morsi’s edict has been hugely controversial and has sparked multiple protests, but he has defended it as temporary and designed to prevent an unfriendly court system from ousting the constitutional committee just days before the draft constitution had been finished. With the vote looming, however, the protesters are now condemning the constitution for having been written by Morsi’s allies in the Muslim Brotherhood.

Yet after last year’s parliamentary elections ended in an overwhelming victory for the Brotherhood’s Freedom and Justice Party (FJP), it is unsurprising that party got a solid major of the seats in the constitutional committee. Specific complaints about the draft have been few, with most condemning it on the basis of its authors, and in the end it seems that the referendum will likely pass on the back of Islamist supporters, ending the most onerous of Morsi’s own power grab by finally giving him a constitutionally defined role.
