European health officials have launched an investigation into whether the seriousness of the swine flu outbreak was exaggerated. They blame pharmaceutical giants for pressuring the World Health Organisation to declare it a pandemic. This allowed drug companies to make huge profits even though the virus was not as deadly as regular seasonal flu. The Council of Europe will launch a probe into pharmaceutical companies accused of manipulating Swine Flu data. This follows a claim by a renowned German scientist that vaccine manufacturers pressured the World Health Organisation into declaring a Swine Flu pandemic seeking to increase profits.

no one I know got it, apart from a couple of daft people I spoke to in a bar whilst drunk one evening.
I think it is a bit like modern natural selection. People stupid enough to get it are going to be ill, and less likely to reproduce, hence a general raising of intelligence for the next generation. Except that isn't going to happen (thanks, Chaos Theory!)

a friend of mine works in the VA and he is convinced that H1N1 is much worse than other flus. They have people quarantined off at the VA. He was trying to tell me that it calcifies the lungs much worse than other flus.

so next time the pharma companies just cry wolf again and if we don't pay them off again they can release the real pandemic diseases they have been designing but if we do pay them off they can just give us more fake drugs to help keep us sick so we buy more of their fake drugs in the future to try to solve problems that they started.

The one thing that alarmed me about H1N1 is that is seemed to fatally attack people of latin or spanish descent. Notice almost all of the names in the US were spanish or mexican names. Made me think it was gene-specific. It was obvious from MSM reports though the MSM never pointed out this fact.
