It is better to laugh at this criminal mischeif then get angry. You wont convince anyone if you are angry and argumentative. Getting pissed wont help overthrow the Bush Family Treason. Laugh it off, be at peace with yourself and be prepared for whatever is next. You are the face of the revolution.
Jefferson said to be 'cool and unruffled' (which is good)- not to suppress very appropriate and sometimes necessary emotions like anger. Being at peace with yourself does NOT mean feeling no anger. That is silly. It is natural to feel anger at injustice, it's what you do with the anger that matters. Are we going to respond with fear and hatred or love for humanity? I have peace that my response is the appropriate one. I have no fear or hatred -- but "laughing at this criminal mischief" is not even a choice for me because this sure as HELL isn't funny. And their war crimes are a lot more than childish mischief, so laughing at them is anything BUT responding with love. But if that is how you and A want to respond then fine. It is not for me to tell anyone what to feel or not. You tend your feelings, I'll tend mine.

Do you respond to bullies who are hurting people by laughing at them? I don't. I get angry and take action to stop them. Not sure what good laughing does.

I am quite aware. And it is a huge deal, not going to pretend its not. I'm not saying we should just skip along to the rythmn of praise he who is a false belief to justify selfish action songs, i am saying, we need to not mention it. I'm saying that in an arguement about corporate corruption, war and such, the last thing we want to talk about is somebody's beliefs, because, if you are disagree with some one who is a war advocate you just put yourself on the side of the enemy to them. Its to easy if we talk beliefs, its set up like that for them to win. They get to say there "he just hates god" fucken what not, and end of conversation.

Christians are wrong but they can be for peace, greenpeace, fair trade ect., as well as other believer of other faiths, its just a matter of keeping them on topic, of what is right.

BECAUSE WHAT IS RIGHT IS WHAT YOU BELIEVE RIGHT? AND IF THEY SAY NO, THEN you have proven them WRONG. They are either exposed, or can change.

They bring up well don't you think about my belief? So they can feel self righteouss. YOur not going to convince somebody there belief is wrong untell you show them there reasoning for believing is wrong, and to that you have to leave the "BELIEF DEBATE" out of it.
hello world suck the life from my voice and breath it back into yourselves

So we should never talk about religion because we might scare off or offend born-again war advocates :? I think you have a case of misplaced sensitivity A. You're more concerned about what the "enemy" thinks about you than what good people think. This explains why you laugh at war mongering bullies. "Ha ha ha hundreds of thousands of innocent people are being murdered ha ha ha it's so funny but FUCK YOU if you drive a car and have kids".

don't worry Ian, every state has its share.

OK, actually I think A has managed to make good points in other threads do I'd like to retract that statement. Even if A is making no sense in this one.

"A" Religions ARE corporations thats what you seem to be missing here. Please name a corporation bigger than the Catholic Church....

They have their own country trillions in rev and their own banks. Wake up.

I do not own people any respect for their dogmatic supersticious assinine belief systems. If someone thought the moon was made of cheese I don't have to respect that I have every right to call them an idiot.

NOt talking about religion is just what the religious leaders want. Dont talk about religion or politics because then nothing will ever change.

There is no reason to not laugh and find humor in life that is my point. I agree anger is approptiate but what Im saying is we arent bringing this thing down with force and emotion, bieng angry and vindictive is not the best approach.

Alinski said (and I didnt know this until a few days ago) laughter is probably the most important thing we have and never loose it.

It is terrible and inhumane and unjust what they have done but you have to laugh. Right now, its all you can do.
