Orange county mass shooter identified

Police in Orange, California say the gunman who carried out a mass shooting at a business complex Wednesday afternoon knew all of the victims. Four people were killed, including a 9-year-old boy at the complex–in the 200 block of West Lincoln Avenue around 5:30 p.m. Police arrived on scene and engaged the shooter and he was hit multiple times. He has been identified as 44-year-old Aminadab Galaxio Gonzalez. He remains in a hospital in critical condition. A surviving adult female victim is also hospitalized. Police say Gonzalez used a bicycle lock to secure the courtyard gate behind him before he started shooting into windows. When the shooting was over, police located a backpack believed to belong to the suspect. The backpack contained pepper spray, handcuffs, and ammunition, police said.

A motive remains under investigation.

No one in mass media showed the shooter instead they opted for pictures of police or buildings.
